Delete your YouQue account

Last updated: August 13, 2026

The fastest way: delete from inside the app

If you still have YouQue installed you can delete your account immediately. Nothing is queued and nobody reviews it — the deletion runs there and then:

  1. Open YouQue and go to Profile
  2. Tap the settings icon
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account
  4. Confirm

There is no waiting period, no cooling-off window, and no way for us to undo it. When it finishes you are signed out and the account no longer exists.

Don't have the app installed?

If you've already uninstalled YouQue or can't sign in, email us at [email protected] from the email address associated with your account.

Subject line: Delete my account

We will:

Please don't send us a password — we never have one. If you write from a different address we may ask you something only the account holder would know, so that nobody can delete someone else's account.

What gets deleted

All of it. Not hidden, not deactivated, not held in a form we could restore.

If you signed in with Apple

Deleting your account also revokes YouQue's token with Apple, so the connection is cut on Apple's side too. You can check afterwards on your device under Settings → your name → Sign in with Apple: YouQue will no longer be listed. There is nothing left for you to clean up by hand.

If you signed in with Google there is no equivalent token to revoke. We only ever received your email address and name from Google, and both are deleted with the account.

What is not deleted

Deleting your account does not delete the YouTube videos YouQue recommended. We never hosted them; they belong to YouTube and to the creators who made them.

If you were turned away at sign-up for being under 16

YouQue is for people 16 and older. If you gave a birth year that made you under 16, we did not store your birth year and we did not set up a YouQue profile for you to use — no display name, no handle you chose, no picks, and nothing you added. What we do keep is a minimal sign-up record: the email address that sign-in came from, and a marker saying the account was turned away, which is what stops the same account signing straight back up.

That marker and the sign-in record are deleted automatically 30 days later. You do not have to ask. If you would rather it went sooner, email [email protected].
